**ATTENTION UFOs**


T-SHIRT, FLOAT AND BANNER FUNDING FOR UNIVERSITY FUNDED ORGANIZATIONS
 
These groups (Club Council, SGA, The Women’s Center, The Appalachian, The Peel, ACT, INTAPP, APPS, BSA, REI, RHA/NRHH, IFC, NPHC, Panhellenic, Ambassadors, WASU) are eligible for funding to build their floats or to make their banners.  UFOs can win certificates and overall championship but are not eligible for prize money in any category.
 
Requests for funding for T-shirts, Banners, and float supplies (UFO’s only) are due by 5:00 pm on September 17, 2014 at the Student Programs Office.
 
Requests must include an itemized budget that lists items needed, their quantity and cost.  Budget forms can be found at the information meetings or at http://specialevents.appstate.edu

T-shirts provided to UFOs are for participants in the kazoo band  & float riders/participants only. If more shirts are purchased then the number of members in the  actual parade, the student club will  have to reimburse the Department of Student Programs for the extra shirts.
